Unhappy HTC one x keeps crashing

My first post and im devastated i have to write this.

Ive had my one x for 2 days and it keeps crashing on me. Dosnt matter what app it is i try to use it just gives up and then takes a very long time to start up again. Think im gonna have to send it back and try again or maybe with another phone. Gutted.

Well, your device might be little slow down because some apps you are trying which is not properly compatible with your device and runs extremely slow and you feel that your device is slow and there may be also possibilities that your phone is fully loaded with data and some time hang and stop working so you should delete some data and create space than restart your phone now may be its work properly.

There are usually kinks in every new gadget that comes out. That is the drawback of buying something when it first comes out. Make sure you call their tech support. They need to know about all of the issues that people have, in order to be able to work on a "fix".

    No problems so far, but...

This is my first post, and I also received my HTC One X on Friday. Fingers crossed... it is not crashing, although I have had a couple of glitches. I will be interested to know if the power management has improved over the Desire; I really hope so, because there is more to use it on the One X! About to sync with MS Office. I was without a service for quite some time because my Desire failed and I had to return it when I moved from Nokia 2 years ago, so I am keeping my Desire with a PAYG balance available...just in case. I also still have my Nokia if I need to go back to a zero-hassle phone.

    I hope your phone improves.

A new phone with such problems needs to be replaced asap. It normal to have a few glitches here and there but when it becomes unusable, then its time to get a new one

I think this is a problem with Android .. Every review tells that Android is not stable as windows. I think it is true in some cases.. You can downgrade your android version or take it to the Vendor

It is, indeed, a problem with Android, as it's happened to me in the past with other phones. But if it happens too often, it really should go back and be replaced. These phones cost way to much to just sit back and deal with the problem.

Try plugging your headphones in, then it'll more than likely work. I found a lot of apps were crashing, and when i tried to adjust sound settings, the phone would crash. I plug in my headphones, and it works fine.

Have called HTC and one of the not-so-well english speaking operators advised me that "There is nothing HTC can do as it is a problem with the Android platform". I've only had the phone for a day!

I think thats the best solution for him, for i do not think what would make a phone crush for no reason

I concur that this may be a weakness with android. From the reviews i have read, a number of people have experienced the same; the best option is take it back to the dealer.
