Best type of screen protector?

I have never been one to use a screen protector on my phone because Im afraid that the screen protector will leave a type of adhesive over my screen once the protector was removed. Are there any screen protectors that do not leave any type of residue over my screen? Online ive seen popular brands like Zagg and Skinomi but ive never used any of them. If you guys could give me some feedback I would really appreciate it.

According to me the Skinomi screen protector is much better than the zagg screen protector because It is easy to use on HTC One S phone. It is very clean screen protector. I have been using about it and no any problem in my phone. I really like it very much.
