Volume through earphones - too high.

The volume through my earphones - tried several sets - is very high at the lowest media volume setting. This makes it uncomfortably loud when listening in a quiet environment. Lots of posts on other forums about this, so looks like a general issue. Anyone found a solution? Thanks.

I never had this problem, nor did I hear about it. It's strange indeed, did you try other earphones out? If it's the phone I don't know what to tell you but if it's the headphones you could change them.

It's not just you, I think a lot of people have been going deaf from having the volume too loud in their ears for too long. This clearly includes the hardware engineers who tested the volume settings on the One V.

It's uncomfortably loud on the lowest setting, and I've tried the three sets of earbuds that I have. Right now I have the crappiest pair sitting between my lobes and tragus so I can listen to music. On max, I can leave the earbuds on the desk and hear the music clearly.

I may have to solder an adapter, or maybe write an app that gives better volume control.

Also have the same problem on my HTC One V. Volume is too loud even on the lowest setting. Anyone have a solution other than new headphones?
