HTC One V - Problem - Not Turning ON

I have been using the HTC ONE V from past one and a half month. It was working superb all these days but suddenly it got switched off and its not Turning ON anymore. It had almost 90% battery power left in it. Please help me to trouble shoot manually or other means to get it up and running.

    THanks!

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried removing the battery and putting it back in after couple of minutes? If it still doesn't work try to do a hard factory reset.

If you can’t turn HTC One V on or access settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using the hardware buttons on HTC One V.

    1) Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
    2) Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
    3) Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.

Sorry the One V has a unibody and you can't remove the battery. Try the above steps. If that doesn't work, you should take it in to a technician, they'll be able to remove the battery.

I have faced this problem in my previous phone.IO think it can't be solved by yourself so it will be a better idea to take it to the customer care center or you can exchange the phone as you have the warranty period

My unit went dead suddenly just after 5 weeks of purchase. I was told by the local service station it was board problem to be replaced. The board has to come from Delhi and it will be ATLEAST 3 days. After 4 days, now they say it will be another 4 days. I have asked for replacement because board failure so soon means some major problem. If there are other users with same problems may report here.

    thanks

If you have a mobile insurance don't have to take tension you will definitely get a solution regarding your HTC one phone,or you may take it to service center as said by jenkisnsonboss

just to throw in my two cents, i also had the same experience. my phone suddenly died, five weeks to the day after i purchased it. i'm about to take it into a shop. we'll see what happens. but as of now, it is completely dead and unresponsive when i touch it. (kinda reminds me of my last girlfriend.... but that's another story...)

Hey Guys.. Thank you all for sharing your similar kinda experience and also helping me out here. I happened to visit the service center today and they told me that its the motherboard problem and it might cost about 80% of the handset price...i would not be able to use the warranty coz i purchased the mobile in different country and i dont have a global warranty service. If i have to avail the global warranty service then i have to pay about $35 and also the price of the defective component that they replace. IT looks like i made a worse decision of going for the HTC mobile and will never ever recommend or allow any of my acquaintances to go for HTC...........BAD EXPERIENCE

I've the same problem. I bought my phone during traveling in Cambodia because I really needed the maps and gps stuff. Now I'm in Vietnam and the phone suddenly died. The service center in Hanoi told me i've to pay around $100 for a new mainboard, and it will take two weeks to repair. I'm not staying that long over here and going to let my phone repaired back home, but I assume this is going to cost me a lot.

Also a compass which is not there was specified at the time I bought this phone. This is being silently removed from the specification sheet on their website, but I still remember it was there.

HTC one V is a bad choice. They better get their production fault solved free of charge, otherwise lots of customers will change brand.
