storage problem on one x??

My one x is the 32GB version but in the settings where it has the info about your phone, it says there is only 25GB storage with 16GB free. What's going on?

yes you will only have 25gb, rest is used up for OS and sense, ect 16GB free, well have you put a load of music or apps on??

No you don't understand. There's 2 types of storage; Phone storage and SD card storage. The phone storage says I have 2.11GB with 1.29GB free, and the SD card storage says I have 25.24GB with 10.64GB free. So even if I didn't have all my apps and music on there I would still only have 25.24GB of space. I've emailed HTC support about this and I'm just waiting for a reply.

Still no reply as of yet but I wiped my internal SDcard and now I have a full 25GB of storage space and the phone is working perfectly. It's strange how there's 25GB...right in between 16GB and 32GB. I hope HTC can clarify this. I'll report back here when I get info.

I hae received a reply from HTC. They said my phone is the 32GB model and that 2GB is used for the Phone storage, 5GB is used for the OS and 25GB is available for storage.

Hi S_G_Parkinson, you mentioned something about SDcard and lost me there for a while. All the same the reply from HTC explains it.. thanks for sharing
