    One X vs Digital Camera?

So I will be getting the HTC One X for my birthday in july (assuming that the phone is released by then). I wanted to get a digital camera sometime next week but since I will be getting this phone do you think i will not need to get a digital camera? I means the camera features of this phone are going to be pretty good. What do yall think?

Well it depends obviously. Are you someone who loves to take pictures? If so then having more than one way to take pictures is not a bad thing. If you are set on picking one over the other then go with the One X. You get to take pictures while also being able to do anything else you normally could with a smart phone.

Nu is right, it really depends on how much you love photography. I use my camera to take pictures of the kids and of other things like that. I almost never use my digital camera anymore. If you love photography then you don't wanna give up your digital camera yet.

I would just wait for my phone and use that camera. The One X will come with an 8 MP camera. Thats a very strong camera bro.

i think there will be no need to get a digital camera since the phone has camera features almost similar to the one for the digital camera. but since you mentioned it, hope they will be out by that July because i also want one for my birthday in may

well this phone has a great in built Camera; however, if you are going to take Cameras professionally, then i would advise you to get your own Camera instead of using this phone's camera.

i think this is such a brilliant idea the money for buying the digital camera can be saved to get something else you might need for the phone

There is no need to buy a digital camera if you intend to buy this smart phone. Its camera can capture very nice pictures. If you intend to take photos professionally though, you should buy a digital camera.

yeahh crazedme is absolutely right the ONE X camera will not disappoint you. It's LED flash light has 5 different power settings and it shoots 1080p HD videos. While shooting HD videos, you will get a burst shoot mode where you can capture HD still shots at the same time. It is possible for inbuilt software called ImageSense and its dedicated camera processing chip.Low light shooting is also amzing. So why u will purchase digital camera if u possess a phone like this where it can be used as multipurpose services
