What does the L stand for in HTC One XL

I know that the HTC One XL is a variation of the HTC One X series. What I can not figure out is what the L stands for. Anyone know?

The L stands for LTE. I might be wrong but I think it stands for long term evolution. I believe that it means that the phone is on the 4G or the G service. It is basically the upgraded mobile technology.

You got it right sharky. LTE is also known as 4G and 3GPP, it uses new technology and has the goal of drastically increasing wireless networks.
