HTC Gets the First PlayStation Mobile Status with One Series Doing the Inauguration

Sony is now looking towards expanding PlayStation Suite to Smartphone and tablets with HTC getting the crown as the first handset manufacturer to benefit from the certification program. The good news is HTC’s high-end One Series smart phones, namely HTC One X, One S, and One V, will be the first to inaugurate this certification.

Formerly known as” PlayStation Suite”, Sony has named the software to be utilized by certified mobile devices as "PlayStation Mobile", which will be pointing towards its shift to mobile gadgets like, smart phones as well as tablets. Gaining this PlayStation Mobile certification simply means an optimum performance level with the content of PlayStation, while making it intriguing for developers to create games, which will deliver PlayStation-like experience for devices running on Android.

As for HTC, upon gaining this PlayStation certification, it will enable One Series owners to get exclusive PlayStation games with the inclusion of PS1 and PS2 titles. Previously, this was only made available on the Xperia Play, but luckily, that will no longer be the case. All in all, with Sony partnering with HTC to share an ultimate gaming experience, it gives HTC cell phones an edge on mobile gaming. At the moment there is no mentioning as to which HTC handsets will be supported, but HTC One Series smart phone users around the globe will be able to enjoy it soon, according to Kouji Kodera, HTC chief product officer. As a HTC One owner, are you looking forward towards the gaming experience that the PlayStation certification will bring about?

I am not sure if I like the idea. If I had PlayStation on my HTC One X, I would want to play it. Considering the battery doesn't last long at all, I don't think I would have enough juice left to make many phone calls, afterward.
