Australian mobile carrier Telstra has finally made an official announcement for the HTC One XL, and the phone will be made available to the users only through this carrier group with a 4G network. Announced to be released on next Tuesday, 5th June, the Android Smartphone will be available in online and local Telstra stores. In a recent event, the telecommunications group told the media that it had great plans for the release of the phone and exclusive contract rates, which would be very reasonable for the user.

As you might know, the HTC One XL is identical to the HTC One X, but with an extra “L” added to indicate that the phone has LTE functionality available. The phone automatically works on the LTE 1800MHz bandwidth, but when it cannot find 4G, it automatically switches to the closest available G Network (like 3G), making it easy for the users to keep constant contact. Of course, the One XL will sport a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor instead of Tegra3 processor. Telstra has also talked about a special pre-order bonus for the first 300 customers, who will book the phone. These lucky customers would be getting Beats Solo on-ear headphones for free, which have a market price of $279. Telstra has come up with several different plans for the phone, where the user can choose from different plans in accordance to the amount of usage. The Freedom Connect Plans of Telstra are priced at $59 for 24 months (with $6 extra for the phone each month, making the total cost of the rental $65) and $79 for 24 months (with no additional amount needed for the phone).

The pre-orders for this phone can be made through the Telstra site dedicated to the upcoming HTC One XL. There you would find a complete list of rental rates and services provided. Are you excited to hear about the available of HTC One XL on Telstra network? Would you pre-order the Smartphone from Telstra to grab the free headphone?
